Fall - a time for pumpkin carving, falling leaves and cozing up by the fireplace with your beau. It's a beautiful time of year and one that is particularly meaningful for weddings. Leaves are warm golden tones and fruit is ripe for harvest; simply put, fall is a season of luxuriousness and we can't get enough.

Coco Chanel once said, "a girl should be two things: classy and fabulous" and we totally agree!

Tie the Knot!

Okay, this one is for the gentlemen! Usually our blog pertains to women and the bridal trends that every woman should know about. Well, men... it's your lucky day because this post is simple, yet all about you!

There is so much that goes into a brides gown and overall look for her wedding day. What about the guys?! - Traditional neck tie or classic bow tie? We love them both and can't seem to choose a favorite!

This classic black bow tie is so very handsome and is a look that will never get old!

This fun yellow bow tie to match his bride has got us grinning from ear to ear! We love this fun look! While it is not for everyone, this is a great way to show personality!

Ladies, if your man is more of the traditional type then, well we are sure he already goes for the neck tie. There are always fun ways to mix it up with a fun color!

Gentlemen, no matter which tie you choose, or whether you prefer quirky or traditional... Just tie the knot! After all, it is your special day!

Bouquets Galore!

While the two of us are pretty traditional in taste, we are always open to new ideas when it comes to wedding trends. We are huge fans of the traditional flower bouquet for your special day but for all of you unconventional brides, here are a few fresh ideas that can make a beautiful wedding unique!

This alternative to the traditional bouquet is beautiful, we love the soft wispy layers!

This pearl version of a traditional bouquet is very elegant. Perfect for a small intimate ceremony!

We are loving this new idea! Carrying a lantern in place of a bouquet is the perfect fit for a southern rustic wedding!

These are just three of the many alternatives to the traditional bouquet. Let us know what your favorites are!

Red, White & Blue

Happy Memorial Day! We wanted to take the time to honor this special day with a collection of some of our favorite patriotic wedding trends. We absolutely love the idea of combining a good 'ole American barbecue with the classic touch of an American wedding!

It's so easy to make something so simple look so festive! Just by adding some colorful ribbon, tags, and American flags, you can turn a colorful tin into a patriotic centerpiece or wedding favors. We love keeping the food traditional with hot dogs, potato chips, soda, and cherry pie. Simply wrap hot dots in colorful bands and tie with twine for a festive treat at your wedding.

A patriotic styled shot is a great way to capture the spirit of Memorial Day and don't forget to end your night with a beautiful display of classic fireworks!

So, what do you think? Would you consider a patriotic themed wedding? We think it's a festive idea perfect for this time of year. With the right mix of classic tones and patriotic accents, a patriotic theme can the an elegant backyard barbecue perfect for any couple.

Salute!
